CAMP: Mechanical interruption summary report
Read the official ruleIf you're a program manager maintaining aircraft under a Continuous Airworthiness Maintenance Program (CAMP), you must submit a monthly summary report to your Flight Standards office by the 10th day of each month covering the previous month's events.
The report must include mechanical issues in multiengine aircraft that caused flight interruptions, unscheduled aircraft swaps, or unplanned stops—but only those that don't rise to the level requiring reports under §91.1415 (which covers more serious incidents). You must also report how many times propellers were feathered in flight, broken down by propeller type, engine, and aircraft. Training, demonstration, or check flights don't count for propeller feathering reports.
This requirement helps the FAA track mechanical reliability trends across CAMP operations without overwhelming them with reports of minor issues that are already captured elsewhere. It's specifically about pattern recognition in your fleet's maintenance performance.
