It manages national and international air traffic in the metropolitan area of Durango and the entire state of Durango. Operated by Grupo Aeroportuario Centro Norte (OMA), the airport is named after Guadalupe Victoria, the first President of Mexico. In 2024, the airport handled 534,993 passengers, increasing to 569,657 in 2025.
