1. Reference and training only — NOT for navigation

The Pilots Desk is an educational and reference resource. It is not an official aeronautical information product and must not be used for navigation, flight planning that isn't cross-checked against official sources, or any in-flight or operational decision. Airports, charts, frequencies, weather, regulations and all other data may be incomplete, out of date, or wrong. Always consult current official sources — charts, NOTAMs, the AIM, your national aviation authority — and fly with a certificated flight instructor.

2. No warranty

The site and all content are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, currency, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

3. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Pilots Desk and its operators are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the site or its content. You are solely responsible for verifying any information before acting on it.

4. Data and intellectual property

The site aggregates public-domain and openly-licensed data (see Data & sources), each under its own terms and attribution. Live flight data is provided by AeroDataBox and shown under its licence. Original text we write (explainers, guides, summaries) may not be scraped or republished in bulk without permission; you're welcome to link to and quote it with attribution.

5. Acceptable use

Don't attempt to disrupt the service, scrape it in a way that degrades it for others, or use it to build a competing bulk dataset from the licensed third-party feeds.

6. Changes

We may update these terms; continued use after a change means you accept it. The "last updated" date above reflects the current version.
