Neklade za cíle stát se hlavním sportovním letištěm Prahy, ale shromáždit zajímavá historická letadla v letuschopném stavu. Zároveň je místem k trávení volného času, nachází se zde například dětské hřiště a kolem letiště vedou cyklostezky.
