How this works
- Trip fuel = burn rate × flight time
- Reserve fuel = burn rate × reserve time
- Total = trip + reserve + taxi/start
Output units match your burn-rate units. Always add contingency and alternate fuel, and respect the minimum reserves for your operation (e.g. 30 min day / 45 min night VFR, or your IFR requirement).
