Tail-Number Lookup

Enter any aircraft tail number — a US N-number or a worldwide registration like G-XWBA or D-AIMA — to find its make, model, type and operator.

How this works

US N-numbers come from the public FAA Aircraft Registry (~313k records, with year, registrant, engine and aircraft type). Other registrations come from the OpenSky aircraft database (~209k worldwide, CC-BY). Both refresh on our import schedule.

Registry data is provided for reference; ownership and status change over time. Not for navigation or flight planning — always verify against official current sources.
