How this works
For each station, moment = weight × arm. Then:
- Total weight = sum of all station weights
- CG = total moment ÷ total weight
Check the resulting weight and CG against your aircraft’s approved envelope in the POH/AFM. Units here are pounds and inches; keep your arms in the same datum.
